Founded on a legacy of electrostatic science and technology, EMist TruElectrostatic sprayers make TruDisinfection possible. Our systems are cordless, mobile, touchless, and used around the world by those in infection prevention and control.

Joshua Robertson

President

Joshua launched National HME (NHME) in 2006. NHME partnered with over 500 hospice programs, served 500,000+ patients, and created close to 500 jobs throughout the U.S. during his tenure at the company. In 2015, the company recapitalized and yielded a high rate of return for shareholders. Joshua also founded GrowCo Capital in 2014 that invests resources into entrepreneurial businesses and real estate projects throughout the United States.

Joshua graduated from Texas Tech University receiving an Executive MBA and a double major in honors management and marketing. He is actively involved in the Fort Worth Stock Show Syndicate, GrowCo Capital, Project 4031, and founding President for the Rawls Raiders Alumni Network (Texas Tech Business School). Joshua loves spending time with his wife and sons. He enjoys fly fishing, hunting, and golf.

Matt Walton

Christopher Crosby

Chief Financial Officer

Christopher joined EMist from ORIX Corporation USA (“ORIX”), where he served in numerous roles including: Director of Corporate Development, Director of Portfolio Value Enhancement (to PE Fund), and CFO to a Private-Equity backed flagship portfolio company. Prior to ORIX, Christopher was a Senior Manager at Deloitte within the Mergers & Acquisitions Transaction Services group, serving some of their largest Strategic and Private Equity clients after completing five years in Deloitte’s Audit & Assurance practice.

Originally from Chicago, Illinois, he graduated from Southern Methodist University with a Bachelor’s in Business Administration and a Master’s in Accounting. He is also a licensed CPA in the State of Texas. Christopher lives in Dallas with his wife and two kids. Outside of work, he enjoys spending time with family, golfing, coaching his kids’ sports teams, and is on the underwriting committee at St. Jude’s.

Matt Walton

Matt Walton

Chief Legal Officer and General Counsel

Prior to joining EMist, Matt served as a law clerk to a federal judge in Dallas for two years and thereafter worked in private law practice for eight years working with corporate clients, including EMist, on complex business litigation and as outside general counsel on everything from shareholder and investor relations to contract drafting and negotiation.

Matt graduated from Texas Tech University with a Bachelor of Arts in Communication Studies in December of 2006 and received his Law Degree from Texas Wesleyan University School of Law in May of 2010. He soon after was admitted to Texas Bar in November of 2010. Beyond Matt’s law practice, he serves on the board for Project 4031, a local hospice nonprofit in Fort Worth, Texas. Matt’s hobbies include outdoor activities like golf, hunting, fishing, and running. He loves quality time with his wife and their kids.

Brandi Whiteley

Chief Compliance Officer

In 2005, Brandi became a licensed vocational nurse from the University of Texas-Brownsville. Mrs. Whiteley spent her nursing career working with geriatric patients in LTC and home health specializing in wound care. In 2014, she co-founded EMist Innovations, Inc. and assisted with the development of its patented electrostatic application technology. Brandi oversees the planning, directing, and execution of all EMist operational activities. Her goal is to boost the economical and efficient performance of her team while providing high-quality product management. She provides her professional perspectives, expertise, and direction into the development and implementation of clinical trials and end-user certification programs. She is I.C.E./I.C.E.-GB certified for CIMS and C.P.T. certified from ISSA.

She lives in Aledo Texas, where she enjoys spending time with her husband and son.

Doug Morrell

Chief Marketing Officer

Doug heads the planning, development, and execution of EMist’s marketing and advertising initiatives. He is the chief storyteller, architect, and steward of the brand, customer journey, and experience. He is a seasoned Marcom veteran in both B2B and B2C organizations having worked with Burr-Brown, SourceHOV Tax, GC International, YZ Industries, Conn’s Appliances, PharmScript, DiscipleLand, and Central Power & Light. He is well-versed in traditional and digital marketing channels and has earned multiple national ADDY awards.

Doug has a BA in Advertising from Texas Tech University, married his college sweetheart Suzie, and they enjoy spending time with family and being outdoors. Doug is passionate about helping others and has served alongside ministries such as Wycliffe, Center of Hope, Bridge Builders, and Project 4031.

Patrick Seaman

Patrick Seaman

Chief Technology Officer

With over 30 years of technology executive experience, Patrick specializes in leading-edge companies. Patrick pioneered the intersection of media, technology, and eCommerce in many C-Suite & executive roles, including at broadcast.com where he helped shepherd the $5.4b merger with Yahoo!

 At EMist, Patrick calls upon his diverse technology, diligence, and executive leadership background to guide the company’s technology governance. His experience includes defense, logistics, streaming media, 3D Printing, SaaS Platforms, and even aquaponics.

Patrick is a 4th generation Texan and graduate of the University of Texas at Dallas with a Math degree. He has served on boards and advises several early-stage startups. Patrick has two adult sons and in his spare time is the co-author of a series of epic science fiction novels.
